The crown has found Kate Middleton.
Netflix was looking for an actor to play Middleton in the show's sixth and final season of Meet Prince William at the University of St Andrews in 2001.
Middleton is played by newcomer Meg Bellamy.
It was also revealed that two new actors have been cast for the role of Prince William, appearing as the 16-year-old and 21-year-old kings respectively: newcomers Rufus Kampa and Ed McVey. Variety Report Clown is Bellamy's professional acting debut. After reading about the casting on her social media and submitting her audition tape, she secured the role.
Production on Season 6 will begin later this year, ahead of Season 5's release on Netflix.

The next installment in Peter Morgan's drama series will see a new cast, with Imelda Staunton, Jonathan Pryce and Lesley Manville playing Queen Elizabeth II, Prince Philip and Princess Margaret respectively.
